PROJECTS 2012-13
CLOTHING
​Some of the students wear the same clothes to school every day. We provided school uniforms for 270 students and staff at three schools. Unfortunately the children found the plastic bags the shirts came in much more wearable, though they were proud of their new matching uniforms.
TECHNOLOGY
​We provided the village of Huay Pu Kheng a computer. The village is beyond the reach of any data signals, so someone carries the computer across the river and 20km into Mae Hong Son when it's time to use the internet.
TRANSPORTATION
​The students of Huay Pu Kheng travel via boat and bus to school. The students are ferried across a river to the bus service which is paid for by Care to Help.
GENERAL SUPPORT
​We assisted village weavers in obtaining their first order from a US retailer. We delivered hundreds of items of clothing and school supplies donated by elementary school students in the U.S. We created and printed marketing materials for Huay Pu Kheng to attract tourist dollars.
